Oh, Mother Mine DIY began the way so many good projects do: with a tired thrift-store dresser, a can of leftover paint and a very small helper who insisted on holding the brush. That dresser still lives in a kid's bedroom today — a little chippy, a lot loved.
Since then we've painted, glued, stitched and upcycled our way through countless projects, and we share the ones that actually work for busy families. You'll find furniture makeovers, budget home decor, seasonal wreaths and porches, kids' crafts, handmade gifts and simple organizing ideas.
Every tutorial lists the time, cost and difficulty up front, includes a supply checklist, and explains the steps in plain English. We include safety notes where they matter and suggest kid-friendly variations whenever we can.
