Projects are for inspiration
Our tutorials, tools and estimates are provided for general information. DIY projects involve tools, heat, chemicals and other hazards. Always read and follow manufacturer instructions and safety labels, use protective equipment, supervise children closely and use your own judgment. Test older painted furniture for lead before sanding. You undertake any project at your own risk.
Calculators and tools
Our paint calculator, chalk paint mixer, budget planner, palette generator and project finder give estimates only. Actual results depend on your materials, surfaces and local prices. Check product coverage and color samples before buying.
